Tiger Woods and Nike are going their separate ways, but Nike still has a lot of love for the golfer.
On Monday, Tiger Woods announced that he and Nike were effectively ending their long-tenured run together. The partnership lasted 27 years and was a huge part of Tiger’s story and his journey to keep golf at the center of his life.
It’s not immediately clear why the relationship is ending, but Nike seemingly knows that Woods was one of their biggest athletes. No matter what comes next for either side, Nike sharing a golf-themed tribute of Tiger wearing one of his most iconic colors (with the swoosh logo) seems incredibly fitting.
