The Dallas Cowboys suffered an absolutely devastating 23-17 loss in their wild card matchup to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday after the game ended on a bizarre botched quarterback sneak.
In a wild fourth quarter to end all fourth quarters — which saw both the Cowboys and 49ers fumbling chances to close out the game — Dallas ended the game in the most Dallas way possible. Quarterback Dak Prescott opted to run the football with 14 seconds remaining and no timeouts, leaving no time for the referees to set the football before the clock hit zero.
It was a completely bonkers way to end a football game, with a lot of blame to go around on the Cowboys side. On Nickelodeon, where the game was being simulcast for the younger audience — the network put one final nail in the Cowboys’ coffin with their hilariously savage animated ribbing of head coach Mike McCarthy.
In their final shots of the broadcast, Nickelodeon animated CGI slime dripping down McCarthy’s head and smoke coming out of his nose as the credits rolled on the event.

Yeah, if Nickelodeon is dunking on you to end their broadcast, you know you messed up big time.
