Nick Sirianni on the possibility of Eagles adding DeAndre Hopkins

Nick Sirianni said “Never say Never”, but made it clear that he’s happy with Philadelphia’s current group of wide receivers when asked about DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins is now a free agent after being released by the Cardinals, and the Philadelphia Eagles have been linked to the five-time All-Pro.

Hopkins mentioned Jalen Hurts, a quarterback he’d like to catch passes from, and there’s been speculation that the NFC’s top team could be a potential landing spot for the former Clemson star.

During his Thursday session with the media, Sirianni was asked about Hopkins and the chances of a union.

Hopkins is set to have a free-agent visit with the Titans this weekend, and he could end up waiting until training camp to decide.

The 31-year-old Hopkins missed the season’s first six games, serving a suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing-drugs policy.

He finished the year with 64 receptions for 717 yards and three touchdowns in nine games.
