Former Vol Nick Senzel recorded two hits for Cincinnati in its 5-4 victory against the Red Sox Wednesday at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts.
Senzel went 2-for-4 Wednesday, recording one double and one RBI.
Senzel has appeared in 41 games for the Reds this season, playing every outfield position, second base and third base.
He has recorded a .270 batting average, totaling four home runs, 26 RBIs and eight doubles.
Senzel was the No. 2 overall selection in the 2016 MLB draft by the Reds.
He played for the Vols from 2014-16 and was an All-SEC performer and All-America standout. Senzel came to the Vols from Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee.
