Former Vol Nick Senzel records two hits at Chicago.

The Cubs defeated Cincinnati, 20-9, Tuesday at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Illinois.

Former Vol Nick Senzel started in left field for the Reds. He went 2-for-4, recording two runs and one walk.

Senzel played for Tennessee from 2014-16, earning All-Southeastern Conference and All-America honors.

The former Vol was selected by the Reds in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft with the No. 2 overall pick. Senzel came to the Vols from Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee.

Cincinnati will next play Wednesday, continuing a four-game series against the Cubs.

First pitch is slated for 8:10 p.m. EDT at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Chicago’s Yan Gomes, a former Vol, did not play Tuesday.
