Cincinnati centerfielder Nick Senzel has missed the Reds’ last two games due to a hamstring injury.
He suffered the injury Sunday in Cincinnati’s 8-5 loss to the Cubs.
Senzel went 0-for-1 with one walk before leaving the game. He has recorded eight hits in the last 11 games.
The former Vol has recorded a .243 batting average in 2022, totaling three home runs, 18 RBIs, 36 runs, 11 doubles and six stolen bases.
Senzel was the No. 2 overall pick in 2016. He made his MLB debut in 2019.
Senzel played for Tennessee from 2014-16 and was an All-America standout for the Vols.
During his junior year and final season at Tennessee, he led the SEC with 25 doubles.
