CINCINNATI — Cincinnati Reds’ center fielder Nick Senzel continued to have his struggles at the plate Tuesday night.
Senzel was hitless again as the Reds dropped a 3-2 decision to the Milwaukee Brewers at Great American Ball Park.
The former University of Tennessee baseball star and 2016 first-round pick for Cincinnati was 0-4 against the Brewers, as his season batting average has now dipped below .200
The former Vol is hitting .190 and is 1-for-20 since returning from a month-long stay on the injury list.
He has two home runs, eight runs batted in, two stolen bases, six doubles and seven runs scored.
Senzel hit 12 home runs and had 36 extra base hits as a rookie for the Reds in 2019.
