Cincinnati centerfielder Nick Senzel has reached base in seven consecutive games.
Senzel, went 0-for-3 with a walk Thursday in Cincinnati’s 15-7 loss to the Cubs at Wrigley Field.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft, had his six-game hitting streak end in Chicago.
The former Vol has a batting average of .240.
Senzel has appeared in 49 games for Cincinnati this season. He has recorded 41 hits, five doubles, one home run, 12 RBIs, 13 walks, five stolen bases and 22 runs.
Senzel played for the Vols from 2014-16. He led the Southeastern Conference in doubles (25) in 2016.
