Cincinnati centerfielder Nick Senzel has reached base in 13 consecutive games.
The former Vol has recorded at least one hit in 13 of his last 14 games for the Reds.
Senzel went 2-for-3 and hit his third home run of the 2022 season Wednesday. Cincinnati lost to the Mets, 8-3, at Great American Ball Park.
He has recorded a .250 batting average this season, totaling five doubles, three home runs, five stolen bases and 16 RBIs.
Senzel was the No. 2 overall pick by the Reds in the 2016 MLB draft.
He played for the Vols from 2014-16 and was an All-America standout during his college career.
As a junior during his final season at Tennessee, Senzel led the SEC with 25 doubles.
