The former Vol has recorded at least one hit in 12 of his last 13 games for the Reds.
He went 1-for-3 in Cincinnati’s 1-0 victory against the Mets at Great American Ball Park.
Senzel has recorded a .250 batting average in 2022, totaling five doubles, two home runs, five stolen bases and 14 RBIs.
He was the No. 2 overall pick by Cincinnati in the 2016 MLB draft.
Senzel played for the Vols from 2014-16 and was an All-America standout during his college career.
As a junior during his final season at Tennessee, Senzel led the SEC with 25 doubles.
