Cincinnati centerfielder Nick Senzel has reached base in nine consecutive games.
Senzel went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in the Reds’ 4-1 loss against Atlanta at Great American Ballpark.
Senzel, a No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 MLB draft, has recorded a .242 batting average in 2022, totaling one home run, 13 RBIs, 23 runs, five doubles and five stolen bases in 51 games.
He played for the Vols from 2014-16 and was an All-America standout.
During his junior and final season at Tennessee, Senzel led the Southeastern Conference with 25 doubles.
