Former Alabama coach Nick Saban let his old team have it during Saturday’s latest edition of College GameDay.
While discussing the Crimson Tide’s shocking loss to Vanderbilt last week, Saban tried to pinpoint what he felt went wrong for Alabama during the game.
To Saban, the loss went beyond what happened on the field. He criticized the team’s general disposition after its Georgia win the week before.
“I saw a little bit of complacency, almost even arrogance, after the Georgia win,” Saban told his College GameDay co-hosts. “That creates a blatant disregard for doing what’s right.”
That is just not what you want a program legend like Saban saying on national television about your football team.
