PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers fell short to the Miami Heat 109-104 on Wednesday at home as they head into the All-Star break at 32-22 on the season. The Sixers had their chances on Wednesday, but weren’t able to get it done in certain moments.’

Overall, the Sixers shot 10-for-35 from deep, but only 2-for-14 in the second half as the Heat went into a 2-3 zone defense and Philadelphia had a tough time executing against it for the most part. They also had a tough time grabbing big rebounds down the stretch as Miami out-rebounded Philadelphia 12-7 in the fourth quarter.

On the flip side, when considering what the Sixers were missing, they do deserve credit for staying in that game down the stretch. They just were not able to get over the hump and there were some areas that coach Nick Nurse saw after the loss:
