Nick Harris catches red eye, arrives back with Browns in time for practice

Harris wasted no time getting back to Cleveland

Over the past couple of weeks, the  Cleveland Browns have had problems with the health of the center position behind starter Ethan Pocic. First, Brian Allen went down in practice, and then second-year player Luke Wypler suffered a severe ankle injury in Saturday’s preseason opener against the Packers.

Andrew Berry knew he had to make a move, so he traded with the Seattle Seahawks to bring back former Browns center Nick Harris. After the trade, Harris wasted no time getting back to Cleveland, taking a Red Eye flight to get into town at 6:30 a.m. before heading to Berea in time for the walkthrough.

Harris seemed happy to be back in town where he feels comfortable and said that plenty of people messaged him when they heard about the trade with their excitement to have him back. Last year, Nick Harris played full back and was the extra lineman in short-yardage situations, whatever he had to do to help the team.
