Browns fans all over the world held their collective breaths while watching the first quarter of the team’s Week 4 matchup in Dallas. Running back Nick Chubb went down with a knee injury and left the game.
Chubb got rolled up by a falling pile while in pass protection on a play and immediately clutched at his lower leg. He hobbled off the field under his own power and flexing his leg.
The Browns quickly reported that Chubb was questionable to return with a knee injury. No additional specifics were provided by FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver in an on-air update.
Kareem Hunt took over for Chubb in the backfield. The Pro Bowler left with 43 yards on six carries.
