Nick Chubb is one step closer to returning to full action as the Cleveland Browns starting running back. Chubb was cleared to return to practice on a limited basis on Saturday in his quest to get back from a concussion.
It’s the final step in the NFL’s concussion protocol before Chubb would clear the entire process and be back to normal. Players need to remain asymptomatic after limited physical activity before being cleared.
Chubb suffered a concussion early in the week when he was tackled high by linebacker Mack Wilson. He has not practiced on even a limited basis since, though RB coach Stump Mitchell did indicate that Chubb has been an active participant in meetings.
