NFLPA advises players against multiple-person workouts

The NFL released a statement advising against in-person workouts.

The NFL Players’ Association released a statement in conjunction with Dr. Thom Mayor  stating players should avoid multiple-person workouts.

With two members of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having tested positive for coronavirus earlier on Saturday, the virus is infecting athletes across major sports leagues as players get tested across the country.

It will be interesting to see how teams navigate this as the league continues to prepare for an upcoming season. In a sports year unlike any other, the league and its teams may very well have to think outside the box in regards to training.

New England has certainly done their share of offseason training to this point. A new-look New England roster should provide some intrigue heading into the 2020 season.
