N’Keal Harry is one of Bill Belichick’s biggest draft busts in recent years.
After three seasons with the New England Patriots, the former first-round pick only has 57 catches for 598 yards and four touchdowns. Harry has dealt with injuries throughout his NFL career and it’s limited him to 33 of 49 regular season games played.
To make matters worse — Deebo Samuel, A.J. Brown, Mecole Hardman, DK Metcalf, Diontae Johnson, Terry McLaurin, Hunter Renfrow and Darius Slayton are some of the receivers drafted after Harry.
Adam Rank of NFL.com created a list of five big-name players who should be traded this offseason and Harry landed on it.
“The Patriots invested heavily in the wide receiver position in free agency last year,” Rank wrote. “Harry played in 12 games and had a career-low 22 targets last season. The former first-round pick is still only heading into his fourth pro campaign and is in the final year of his rookie deal. I remain enamored with his potential, based on his scouting reports coming out of Arizona State. Honestly, a team in need of receiving help (looking at you, Chicago) should be willing to part ways with a Day 3 pick in return for N’Keal’s services.”

The Patriots’ top receivers currently consist of Jakobi Meyers, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor. Help will be necessary whether in the draft or through free agency this offseason, but Harry likely won’t be a part of that crew.
