NFL Week 9 best bets: Kyler Murray and the Cardinals are a lock

Three NFL betting locks for Week 9.

It’s always a good time to make some money, and we’ve got three more betting locks for Week 9 in the NFL.

All betting lines via BetMGM.

Charles Curtis: Texans -7 vs. Jaguars

Houston is coming off a bye, and the Jags will start Jake Luton at quarterback – but it’s more about the Jags’ shoddy defense against Deshaun Watson. I think Houston wins this one by 10, at least.

Nick Schwartz: Cardinals -5 vs. Dolphins

I lost money betting against the Dolphins last week, but they scored half of their points on defense and special teams against the Rams, and that’s unlikely to repeat. The Cardinals have won three straight and are coming off a bye at home. Tua won’t be able to hang with Kyler Murray.

Week 9 teaser: Raiders +7, Raiders/Chargers over 46.5

I like a standard 6-point teaser on this game. I’d bet the Raiders to win outright, so getting them at +7 is huge value. I’d also bet the standard over here of 52.5 on two teams that score and allow a lot of points, so dropping that to 46.5 is easy money.
