NFL Week 7 power rankings: Where do Rams stand coming out of bye?

The Rams were off in Week 6 but some analysts still moved them up in the latest NFL power rankings

Heading into their Week 6 bye, the Los Angeles Rams were widely viewed as a bottom-10 team in the NFL. And nothing has really changed since then because they were idle this past week.

Even though they were inactive in Week 6, the Rams actually gained ground in the NFC West, moving within 1.5 games of the division lead thanks to the 49ers’ win over the Seahawks. In terms of power rankings, they mostly stayed put in the mid-20s.

They moved up one spot in two different power rankings and down one spot in two others, so their average ranking remained the same at 24.4. One site, The Ringer, has the Rams as high as No. 15, however – one spot higher than they were a week ago.

Here’s a look at how analysts view the Rams entering Week 7.

The Rams have a chance to jumpstart their season on Sunday against the Raiders, a 2-4 team that benched its quarterback recently and just traded Davante Adams to the Jets on Tuesday.

With a win, the Rams would improve to 2-4 and keep themselves in the playoff hunt in the NFC.
