The best NFL betting picks of the week.

The spreads for Week 5 are tricky, but we’ve got four locks for bettors this week.

Charles: Buccaneers -3 at Bears

I like what I’ve seen out of Tom Brady, but this is more about the Buccaneers’ defense, especially with the pass rush that will keep Nick Foles from doing much of anything. Tompa Bay by a Tom Brady touchdown.

Nick: Cardinals -7 at Jets

The Cardinals have burned bettors (read: me) over the last two weeks, but betting against the Jets has been the most profitable strategy in 2020. Sam Darnold’s out, Joe Flacco is in, and Kyler Murray is sure to have a big game against this Jets defense.

Steven: Rams -7.5 at Rams

Washington just benched its quarterback, but I don’t think getting rid of Dwayne Haskins is going to solve the WFT’s problems that they have on offense. And I know the Rams had a tough game against the Giants last week, but I think they’ll bounce back. They have too much offensive firepower for Washington.

BONUS LOCK: Panthers-Falcons over 54.5

Christian McCaffrey is out, but Teddy Bridgewater and Mike Davis have the Panthers’ offense clicking, with 52 points over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, the Falcons are the Falcons on offense, and have given up 138 points in four weeks on defense.
