These NFL teams are primed to go undefeated in the opening month of the regular season.

The 2020 NFL schedule was revealed on Thursday night, and while some teams like the Texans and Redskins are in for a rough opening month of the season, some organizations are primed to begin the year with a lengthy win streak.

We went through the schedule to find the teams that are most likely to go undefeated in their first five games, factoring in their offseason moves and draft results. Here are five teams that could start the year 5-0, listed in no particular order.

COLTS

  • at Jaguars
  • vs. Vikings
  • vs. Jets
  • at Bears
  • at Browns

The Vikings will be an interesting test for the Philip Rivers-led Colts, but if they win at home, Indy should be in great position in the AFC North through Week 5.

49ERS

  • vs. Cardinals
  • at Jets
  • at Giants
  • vs. Eagles
  • vs. Dolphins

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Cardinals pull an upset in Week 1, but the 49ers should be solid favorites in every one of these games. That being said, the 49ers’ latter half of the schedule is horrifying.

TITANS

  • at Broncos
  • vs. Jaguars
  • at Vikings
  • vs. Steelers
  • vs. Bills

The Titans have three tough games in their opening five, but they’ll have the benefit of playing at home against the Steelers and Bills. Week 3 in Minnesota will be the toughest test, but I’ll put my money on Derrick Henry.

SAINTS

  • vs. Buccaneers
  • at Raiders
  • vs. Packers
  • at Lions
  • vs. Chargers

Brees vs. Brady will be the premier matchup of Week 1, but the Saints are a Super Bowl-caliber team that should be winning that game at home. Week 3 against the Packers is a potential playoff preview, while New Orelans’ two road trips should be safe wins.

BEARS

  • at Lions
  • vs. Giants
  • at Falcons
  • vs. Colts
  • vs. Buccaneers

To be clear, I would never bet on the Bears to start 5-0, but stranger things have happened. They get the Colts and Bucs at home, and their first three games are very winnable.
