With the COVID-19 pandemic subsiding — for now — the NFL plans to go international again in 2022.
The league announced there will be games in Germany and Mexico in the upcoming season. There also will be the usual slate in England.
The Seattle Seahawks will face Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first game in Germany. This game will be played at Allianz Arena — home of FC Bayern Munich — in Munich on Nov. 13.
The San Francisco 49ers will face the Arizona Cardinals on Nov. 21 in Mexico City at Estadio Azteca.
The UK games will see the Minnesota Vikings against the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 2 in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the New York Giants against the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 9 in the same venue, and Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 30 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
