The NFL announced the games scheduled for international competition early Wednesday morning. As expected, the Detroit Lions will not be playing in any of the games in Europe, Mexico or England.
Earlier in the offseason the NFL released the names of the teams that would be hosting games overseas. The Lions have not played in an international game since visiting Wembley Stadium in England in 2015. Detroit was slated to be one of the teams playing in England in 2020, but the international series was cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Detroit’s full schedule for the 2022 NFL season will happen on Thursday, May 12th at 8 p.m. ET.
