NFL reinstates Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon from suspension

The Seahawks will have yet another weapon in their offensive arsenal starting in Week 16, as the NFL officially reinstated wide receiver Josh Gordon from his suspension on Thursday.
Gordon, one of the league’s most talented receivers, re-signed with the Seahawks on Sept. 3 following a 2019 stint with the team in which he accumulated 139 receiving yards on seven catches across five games.
He was suspended for the fifth time in his career on Dec. 16, 2019, for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.
Once he rejoins the Seahawks on the field, Gordon will serve as yet another weapon for QB Russell Wilson, who already reaps the benefits of throwing to stars DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Barring any setbacks, Gordon will arrive at the perfect time to set up a solid playoff run, as the Seahawks face two tough division opponents in the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers to close out the season
