Here are five player/team proposition bets to consider from the BetMGM.com game menu:

Saints QB Drew Brees UNDER 264.5 passing yards (-112)

Even though New Orleans opened the season with a 34-23 home win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brees didn’t exactly light up the stat sheet, completing 18 of 30 passes for 160 yards and two touchdowns.

That was with top target Michael Thomas playing most of the game, but the wideout is out Monday with the high-ankle sprain suffered in the waning minutes of Week 1.

The Raiders, meanwhile, outdueled the host Carolina Panthers 34-30 in their opener, but Carolina QB/ex-Saint Teddy Bridgewater didn’t exactly go wild with 269 yards on 22-of-34 passing.

Raiders QB Derek Carr UNDER 260.5 passing yards (-112)

Carr, who averaged a modest 253.4 aerial yards per game a season ago, threw for only 239 in the high-scoring opening win on 22-of-30 passing as he’s adjusts to passel of new pass-catchers.

Meanwhile, 239 passing yards is all the Saints surrendered as well to Bucs QB Tom Brady last week in his debut with his new team.

Go with Carr Under 260.5 to double down on quarterbacks falling short of their totals.

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs OVER 16.5 rushing attempts (+105)

Jacobs toted the rock 25 times against Carolina and sparked the victory with 93 yards and a trio of touchdowns.

The Silver & Black are 6-3 when Jacobs has 17 or more rushing attempts in a contest. Coach Jon Gruden will try and ride that train again Monday, looking to keep the high-powered Saints offense off the field.

Saints TE Jared Cook OVER 50.5 receiving yards (-112)

It may not seem to jibe to go with the Under on Brees’ passing-yard total and go Over with Cook’s yardage, but the veteran tight end figures to be one of Brees’ top go-to guys with Thomas out.

Against the Bucs, Cook led the team with 80 yards and five catches and has had 51 yards or more in seven of his last eight games dating back to Week 12 of last season.

Go with the Over for Cook in a “revenge” game against his former team.

Saints/Raiders combined made field goals OVER 2.5 (-250)

On the accurate leg of Wil Lutz, New Orleans was third in the league a season ago with 32 made field goals and, right on cue, Lutz connected on both of his attempts in Week 1.

Vegas K Daniel Carlson struggled early in his career, but has a big leg and has come on of late, hitting nine of 11 field-goal attempts over his last four games dating back to last season.

With the Saints missing Thomas and the Raiders lacking offensive cohesiveness, expect a number of drives to bog down inside the 40-yard lines, so pay the price to go over with the kickers.
