5 Dallas Cowboys prop bet predictions for Thanksgiving
Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:50 a.m. ET.
UNDER 6.5 points for the Cowboys in the first quarter (-143)
If QB Dak Prescott were playing in this game, it would feel like a lock that Dallas would score at least 7 points in the first quarter, but don’t expect that to happen with Andy Dalton under center. The Cowboys typically defer the opening kickoff to the second half, which often leads to them having just one first-quarter possession. Look for them to struggle to move the ball early in this game.
UNDER 24.5 total points for the Cowboys (-134)
Dallas managed to score just three points in its first meeting with Washington this season. Washington’s defense, specifically the defensive line, dominated that game and that shouldn’t be any different this week. Look for this to be a close game throughout, but for fewer than 24.5 points to be scored by the Cowboys.

Cowboys QB Andy Dalton UNDER 252.5 passing yards (-106)
The Cowboys are going to do everything possible to shorten this game and they will do so by taking the ball out of the hands of Dalton. Sure, Dalton will attempt 30 or so passes, but don’t look for him to be making big throws down the field. Instead, look for him to be used to convert third downs and for the running game to do most of the heavy lifting in this one.
Cowboys WR Amari Cooper OVER 55.5 receiving yards (-112)
Cooper has found a way to produce despite the Cowboys putting four different quarterbacks under center this season. He’s on pace for 1,100 receiving yards and is just coming off a six-catch, 81-yard game against the Minnesota Vikings. He should have no problem going over 55.5 yards in this game as he is the team’s clear-cut No. 1 WR.
Cowboys RB Tony Pollard to score 2 or more touchdowns (+2200)
With this being a short week, the Cowboys would be wise to utilize both running backs against Washington. Pollard has proven to be a big-play threat and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he sees more work in this game. At +2200, Pollard is a fun bet to watch as he could have his first multi-touchdown game of the season.
