Ravens at Patriots: Prop bets to make for Sunday Night Football

UNDER 21.5 first-half points (-110)

Both offenses have struggled some this season and each side has traditionally gotten off to a slow start. With both teams missing key offensive players, look for this to be a low-scoring first half with a ton of runs. Expect a few touchdowns to be scored, but no more than three in the first 30 minutes.

Patriots QB Cam Newton OVER 197.5 passing yards (-121)

One thing Baltimore does extremely well on defense is stop the run. They are going to force Newton to beat them through the air. Luckily, Newton got into a rhythm late in Week 9 against the New York Jets and is poised to throw for over 200 yards in this game against a beat-up Ravens’ secondary. Don’t expect it to be pretty, but for Newton to ultimately hit the Over on passing yards.

Ravens PK Justin Tucker OVER 1.5 field goal made (-150)

Historically, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick’s teams have excelled in the red zone. They force teams to kick field goals rather than reach paydirt. Expect that to be the case again on Sunday Night Football and for Tucker to make Over 1.5 field goals. While the odds aren’t great, this is nearly a lock to happen given how great of a weapon he has been for the Ravens. Look for him to attempt a few shorter field goals, along with one over 50 yards.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews OVER 33.5 receiving yards (-115)

The Ravens haven’t used Andrews a ton in the passing game this season, but Week 10 appears to be a game in which he could see a ton of volume. The Patriots have one of the worst linebacker corps in football and the Ravens should be able to expose them through the air. Look for Andrews to get seven or eight targets in this game and go Over 33.5 receiving yards.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson and Patriots QB Cam Newton to each record 75 rushing yards (+825)

If you are searching for a real long-shot bet on this game, consider wagering on Jackson and Newton to each total 75 rushing yards. Both quarterbacks have already accomplished this multiple times this season and are among the best runners in the NFL. If neither side can get it going through the air, maybe they will just rely on their legs to get it done on primetime. At +825, this is a fun bet to watch on Sunday Night Football.
