After a shaky start to the season, the New England Patriots are finally back in the win column. In the words of offensive tackle Trent Brown, it was a “grimy” victory for a Patriots team that was on the verge of falling 0-3 in their first three games.
But they weren’t the only team making waves in the AFC East.
The Miami Dolphins put a historic beating on the Denver Broncos with 726 yards of total offense and 70 points. It was as if someone set EA’s “Madden NFL 24” on rookie difficulty and left all of the sliders down.
Even though the Patriots are a much-improved team on paper, they’re going to have their work cut out for them trying to survive in a division with two potential Super Bowl contenders in the Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.
