It wasn’t that long ago that the Jacksonville Jaguars had the inside track for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Now they’re clinging for dear life to their postseason hopes.
The 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football was more of the same from a Jaguars team that has become defined by its mistakes.
After Doug Pederson said Friday that the team was aiming to eliminate some of the BS, it failed to score any points on five drives inside the Ravens’ 40-yard line.
It may take just a couple wins in the last three weeks for the Jaguars to get into the playoffs anyway. But until the team stops shooting itself in the foot, the list of contenders that look better positioned than Jacksonville to make a Super Bowl run continues to grow.
