The Philadelphia Eagles punched their ticket to the 2019 NFL postseason with a hard-fought 34-17 win over the New York Giants.
In securing the NFC East title, the Birds guaranteed themselves the opportunity to host a team with a better record in the opening round of the playoffs. Based off scenarios and late afternoon outcomes, the Eagles will definitely host the winner of the 49ers matchup with the Seahawks on Sunday Night football.
As the NFC East champ, the Eagles will host the loser of tonight’s 49ers-Seahawks game in next weekend’s NFC’s wild-card round.

Both teams are formidable, but if it is the 49ers, then you’d have the scenario where both Carson Wentz and Jimmy Garoppolo would be starting their first playoffs games against each other.
Russell Wilson is a seasoned vet and if it is the Seahawks coming to the Linc, Seattle will hold the advantage because of his playoff experience.
