Week 7, at face value, will not be banner stretch for competitive football. Only three of the dozen games slated for Sunday and Monday feature spreads of fewer than four points. Just as many have spreads of 12 or more.
There probably won’t be much intrigue when the Arizona Cardinals kickoff against the Houston Texans or when the Detroit Lions face the Los Angeles Rams, but there are still some games primed to excite. The Tennessee Titans will look to knock off another team from 2020 AFC title game when they host the Kansas City Chiefs six days after beating the Buffalo Bills. The Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers will each attempt to stake their claim as a team on the rise. The Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins will attempt to play something approximating football.
