NFL fans ripping Netflix’s Quarterback for including Marcus Mariota are missing the point

This docu-series is going to be so good, especially with what happens with Mariota.

We’ve seen some all-time great F1 behind-the-scenes moments from Drive to Survive. The same went for Full Swing.

And now? We’re about to see if Netflix can find that same success with Quarterback, which will focus on Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota.

Now, I’ve seen A LOT of tweets (see below) about the inclusion of Mariota. But you’re all missing the point. The series will look at the megastar (Mahomes), the solid vet (Cousins) and the fringe player (Mariota).

And it’s Mariota’s story I’m most excited to see. You should be too.

You may recall the drama after last season’s awful throw and not-so-great run after a solid start to the season — he was benched after the Atlanta Falcons’ bye, left the team to undergo surgery and he welcomed his first child in December. This docuseries will hopefully shine a light on all of that:
