Urban Meyer hit another embarrassing low on Sunday as his Jaguars lost to the Titans, 20-0, just a day after more ugly reports about the first-year NFL coach came out.
Meyer’s stint with the Jaguars has been a disastrous one so far and it sure feels like a second year with the team might not happen.
In the latest reports Meyer allegedly called his assistants “losers” and he had beefs with a few players and coaches in recent weeks. The big picture of those reports is that Meyer can be a really bad leader behind closed doors. I’d have to think his assistants would feel that way. His players would probably agree, too.
After Sunday’s game Meyer had a chance to catch up with Titans coach Mike Vrabel, who once worked on Meyer’s staff at Ohio State. I’m not normally a big reader into postgame handshakes but this one sure does seem to tell a story:

I know the Jags just lost but that sure seemed like a handshake that Vrabel was happy to run away from in a hurry. And it said a lot about Meyer. A LOT.
