After an embarrassing 6-11 debut season with the Las Vegas Raiders, Josh McDaniels isn’t messing around anymore.
In the interest of saving his head coaching reputation, he’s clearly just going to build the New England Patriots in the northeastern portion of the Mojave Desert.
To start NFL free agency, McDaniels made an underrated move to acquire former Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo. Then, on the second day, McDaniels brought in former Patriots utility receiver Jakobi Meyers. So, what’s next: will McDaniels start talking about the Patriot Way? Is he going to tell the Raiders to simply do their job?
Because this team construction is a little on the nose for a former Patriots coach. And NFL fans noticed the hilariously obvious similarity.
