Well, the scariest thing you might’ve seen on Halloween Monday Night Football this year might not have been the Cleveland Browns.
On the spooky edition of ESPN’s ManningCast, co-host Eli Manning decided to don a familiar mask for his Halloween costume. His disguise was Chad Powers, the fictional freshman football player who walked on at Penn State earlier this fall.
Though, Manning’s mask didn’t exactly channel Chad Powers as much as something much more disturbing.
There’s just something so unsettling about seeing a Hall of Fame quarterback wearing a mask that looks like it’s melting off of his head, like he just stared into the Ark of the Covenant or something.

Seriously, look at that thing. It looks like it’s been partially filled with helium, or it’s a mask someone would wear to go scare teenagers with in an episode of Scooby-Doo.
Thankfully, Eli Manning took the mask off pretty quickly.
What do we think about @EliManning's Halloween costume on the ManningCast? ๐ค

Although, a spooky to shoutout to the whole Eli Manning family for going all out this Halloween. Looking silly is the point!
