New England Patriots coaches have said a number of times this season that quarterback Cam Newton has been the first one in the building in the morning and the last one out at night.
Well, now we know what time he apparently goes to the office thanks to a graphic ESPN showed during tonight’s Bills-Patriots game and the former NFL MVP does get up really early. He also doesn’t waste much time getting ready before he leaves his house.
But then he waits a really long time before having his first sip of coffee, which sounds impossible to pull off.
Here’s his schedule, which includes an 11:30 p.m. bedtime:
That’s quite the schedule. pic.twitter.com/gX7KDjBAPu

Up at 4:20 and out of the house at 4:30?! That sounds a little crazy to me (because I love the snooze button).
NFL fans had lots of jokes:
the entirety of Cam’s schedule is unrealistic but *10 MINUTES* between waking up and leaving the house?? that’s prime yawn/phone time

maybe Cam Newton is struggling because he’s getting 5 hours of sleep a night????????? https://t.co/cmMMhECCLB

Cam is a psycho. Leaving the house in your underwear and waiting 3.5 hours to put pants on would be more sane than waiting that long to drink coffee. https://t.co/P5bRf3qy2T

How tf do you wait that long for coffee?! I’d be in jail by that time. https://t.co/zENrl3E2oJ

As the father of a two-week-old, I say to Cam: Welcome. https://t.co/NqKfbqTu7K

Cam Newton moved to Boston and adopted Mark Wahlberg’s schedule

I can’t believe Cam Newton drives 3 and a half hours just for a coffee pic.twitter.com/tc6r6Pskmk

It should be illegal for anyone to wait 3.5 hours before having your first sip of coffee https://t.co/l7qBZ7HA1P
