The Chicago Bears were once again on national television, which meant we had no choice but to watch Nick Foles and a terrible Bears offense bore us all the way to the bitter end of a bad NFC North game.
And I’m not overstating things here – the Bears’ offense was horrible against the Vikings. In the third quarter they had just two yards.
Two yards!
Then late in the fourth quarter after a punt return put them in Vikings territory and trailing by six points, Foles and Co. bumbled through some terrible play calling (including two passes behind the line of scrimmage) before wide receiver Anthony Miller somehow wasn’t able to catch a pass on fourth down that would have been an easy touchdown and probably a win for Chicago.
The Bears got the ball back with under a minute left in the game and Foles was knocked out of the game on the first play. He was carted off the field with what looked like a painful injury and we, of course, hope he’ll be ok.
Tyler Bray stepped in and did nothing for the Bears, who ended up losing the game 19-13.
NFL fans had fun roasting Chicago’s brutal offense:
The Bears needed five yards and just threw a pass four yards behind the line of scrimmage. pic.twitter.com/2xvz7xeuGa

3rd and 5 and throw several yards behind the line of scrimmage. Brilliance.
So, no. There really was no difference between the Nagy and Lazor play-calling. #Bears

Legit LOL at that 3rd down call by the #Bears

Absolutely the worst offense I’ve ever seen from an NFL team.

HAHAHAHA. That was the 3rd and 5 play!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two passes behind the line on that series is a different look for the offensive, or any offense, I guess. #DaBears

That would have been very Nick Foles to complete that pass to Anthony Miller. NFL games come down to a mere inch.

The Bears are 100% hitting the “Ask Madden” option on offense

America,
I’m sorry.
Personally, I don’t think any Bears game should be on TV. I hate watching them too.

Out of all the hundreds of passes you knew Foles wasn't going to complete….that was one of them.
