Dan Snyder’s tenure as the owner of the Washington Redskins franchise has been rife with controversy, and following the publication of a shocking Washington Post report in which 15 former female Redskins employees exposed a toxic workplace culture, fans are once again calling for Snyder to sell the team.
On Thursday, the Washington Post published a lengthy report titled “From Dream Job To Nightmare,” which details allegations of sexual harassment and workplace misconduct gathered from 15 former employees. Although Snyder was not accused by any of the women personally, the allegations span a 13-year period, all under Snyder’s watch. Some of the Redskins employees accused of misconduct have recently left their positions. Hours before publication of the story, it was reported that the Redskins have hired attorney Beth Wilkinson to “conduct a deep dive into the organization’s past culture,” per Adam Schefter.
There has long been a contingent among the Washington fanbase for Snyder to sell the team, and Thursday’s report sparked a new wave of calls for the NFL to act against Snyder.
Just finished the article. Washington is/was rotten to the core. Dan Snyder may not have been directly implicated in the harassment, but when half the executive team acts in such a repugnant manner to female employees over 10 years, it falls on him.
Sell the team, Dan.

One Redskins executive sent a text to a female employee to expect an “inappropriate hug.”
One sold access to cheerleaders.
And owner Dan Snyder reportedly mocked a male executive for having been a cheerleader in college and ordered him to do cartwheels. https://t.co/B91ouF9Mro

DC’s got some sexist trash running the team. That buildup about Gruden and drugs wasn’t in the story, but this is still extremely serious and Dan Snyder has to sell the team.

The only thing that will keep me on board as a Washington "Football Team" fan is for @NFL to force #DirtyDanSnyder to sell the team. This guy has effectively thrown a once proud franchise into a dumpster and today's allegations set the thing on fire. Let's go Ravens!

Force him to sell the team @NFL @nflcommish and clean up your owner problem https://t.co/S7SZD13LT0
