In what was a slight shock to NFL draft fans and pundits, Penn State wide receiver [autotag]Jahan Dotson[/autotag] was selected No. 16 overall by the Washington Commanders on the first night of the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night in Las Vegas.
Washington had originally been in the No. 11 overall spot in the draft but traded back earlier. The trade back allowed for them to get the guy they wanted all along at a value. The team has been aggressive this offseason and acquired quarterback Carson Wentz to throw to star receiver Terry McLaurin. McLaurin and Dotson will be a nice duo for Wentz to throw to while also keeping both men in more single coverage.
Overall, how does Jahan Dotson fit for the Washington Commanders in a competitive NFC East?
