Kansas City defeated Buffalo, 42-36, in overtime at Arrowhead Stadium. Rookie offensive lineman Trey Smith started for Kansas City.

Kansas City will host Cincinnati in the AFC championship game Sunday (3 p.m. EST, CBS).

Los Angeles will host San Francisco Sunday (6:30 p.m. EST, FOX).
