The Chargers came up just shy of the playoffs, finishing 9-8 in 2021. They enter this season with one of the most talented rosters in recent franchise history after adding a slew of key defenders, headlined by J.C. Jackson, Khalil Mack, Sebastian Joseph-Day, among others.
The Raiders, on the other hand, were the ones who knocked Los Angeles out of the playoffs in the season finale, as they beat them with a game-winning field goal in overtime. Las Vegas made some quality additions this offseason, most notably acquiring Davante Adams.
Last season, the two teams split 1-1. The Raiders lead the series against the Chargers, 67-56-2.
