We’re getting closer: the NFL has confirmed that New Orleans Saints rookies will first report for their 2023 training camp on Tuesday, July 18, with their veteran teammates joining them at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center a week later on July 25 (which was already reported locally in New Orleans).
That marks the official start of Saints training camp, at which point everyone will go through the conditioning test to determine whether they’re ready to start work right away or open camp on a reserve list.
But we’re still waiting on information for the dates in which fans can attend to observe practice. The Saints typically open up free tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis for 10 to 12 practice sessions before closing out camp with a scrimmage at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium or inside the Caesars Superdome. So stay tuned for more details as they become available.
