The Cincinnati Bengals will host the Baltimore Ravens in the Week 18 season finale at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
The game’s kickoff time was originally supposed to be based on the result of Cincinnati’s game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night before the postponement.
Had the Bengals won Monday night, the Bengals would’ve won the AFC North and sat in the 1 p.m. slot. A loss would’ve meant the division was at stake in Week 18 and a later kickoff in front of a bigger audience.
As of this writing, the overall impact of the Week 18 game is a bit murky because the NFL has yet to decide what the plan is for the postponed Bills-Bengals game. The league continues to explore all options, ranging from rescheduling to calling it off to figuring out how to address playoff seeding.
Cincinnati returned to as normal as possible proceedings on Wednesday by hosting a walkthrough and providing a few media availabilities.
