NFL analyst thinks Patriots rookie WR could be ‘steal of the draft’

NFL analyst Ryan Clark had high praise for Patriots rookie receiver Kayshon Boutte.

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was a bright spot in his team’s 21-17 preseason win over the Green Bay Packers.

Boutte had two catches for 49 yards, including a 42-yard touchdown reception on a throw from backup quarterback Bailey Zappe. The wide receiver showed off his speed and athleticism on the touchdown play.

His performance on Saturday night received praise across the league, including from NFL analyst Ryan Clark. The 2023 NFL draft was headlined by big-name receivers, such as Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jordan Addison.

However, Clark believes Boutte could be a steal.

New England could use the depth in the wide receiver room, and Boutte could provide it for the team.

He showed his talent at LSU, where he was once considered one of the best prospects in the country. Now, he is getting a chance to make his case on the NFL stage for a Patriots team that needs all of the offensive help they can get.
