It’s shaping up like the race for Defensive Player of the Year is coming down to Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt. Both players are having incredible seasons and seem to be out to top the other each week.
But don’t tell NFL analyst Adam Schein that. According to him Watt has no business even being in the discussion for DPOY and if you vote for him over Donald you don’t watch football.
You’re not watching football if you vote for Watt over Donald for Defensive Player of the Year.
Schein made these comments on SiriusXM and we understand why. But honestly, just trolling for clicks and views doesn’t make you seem very credible as an analyst. The truth both sides of this debate can’t admit is the race between these two players is just too close to call. Dismissing either guy at this point is just being intentionally obtuse about the accomplishments of these men.
