NFC West standings: 49ers retake division lead on bye as everyone else loses badly

The three NFC West teams who played on Sunday combined for as many touchdowns as the 49ers on their bye.

The Seattle Seahawks’ time atop the NFC West was short-lived. They took the lead last week after the San Francisco 49ers lost their third straight game.

However, the 49ers were idle in Week 9 and the rest of the division was awful. The Seahawks, Cardinals and Rams combined to score as many touchdowns as the 49ers did while on their bye.

Seattle fell to a tie with the 49ers but San Fran gets holds a divisional tiebreak right now.

Here are the divisional standings entering Week 10:

  1. San Francisco 49ers, 5-3 (2-0 division)
  2. Seattle Seahawks, 5-3 (1-1 division)
  3. Los Angeles Rams, 3-6 (2-1 division)
  4. Arizona Cardinals, 1-8 (0-3 division)

Let’s look back at Week 9 and what is coming in Week 10.
