We have reached the end of an other week in the NFL offseason, which usually means we take a look around the NFC West to see what has been going on with the Arizona Cardinals’ division rivals.
What is new with the San Francisco 49ers?

Thomas, drafted by the Cardinals 10 years ago as a quarterback, becomes quality depth at tight end for the 49ers.
McCaffrey gets a two-year, $38 million extension and it saves over $7 million in cap space.
Aiyuk wants a new contract. He did not report to mandatory minicamp, which subjects him to fines.
While the Niners and Aiyuk try and hammer out a new deal, it would appear that the team will not forgive the fines he has accrued for missing mandatory minicamp.
Latu, drafted a year ago, missed his rookie season. he could make the competition tighter at the position with his expected return for training camp at the end of July.
Green has a better shot at playing as a rookie because he is practicing at multiple positions for the Niners in the offseason.
