NFC Championship: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers Prediction, Game Preview

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Green Bay Packers prediction, NFL Playoff NFC Championship game preview.

Why Green Bay Will Win The NFC Championship

The Los Angeles Rams came into last weeks’s game against Green Bay with the best defense in the NFL and a line that stopped Seattle cold.

Aaron Rodgers threw for almost 300 yards, the running game was fine, and then they all moved on.

Yeah, Tampa Bay had the Packers’ number in the first meeting, but that was way back in mid-October and the team has improved into even more of a killer offensive machine this late in the year.

Rodgers has been on an otherworldly tear since losing to Indianapolis in Week 11, throwing 17 touchdown passes and just one pick on the seven-game winning streak.

It’s not just Davante Adams, either, with all of his weapons getting more and more work, the running game helping out, and the defense playing its best ball of the season at just the right time.

The Packer D hasn’t allowed more than 365 yards of total offense or more than 250 passing yards since that loss to the Colts, and it’s all being helped by the biggest key of all.

Rodgers and the offense don’t turn the ball over.

They gave it up four times against Indianapolis and twice in the loss to Tampa Bay. They also turned it over twice in the win over Jacksonville, but that’s been it for the multiple giveaways.

How air tight as the O been? It gave up a total of three turnovers in the other 14 games. Tampa Bay doesn’t necessarily need takeaways to win, but they sure do help, coming up with four against New Orleans last week.

Green Bay isn’t going to turn it over four times.
