When video of the Albiceleste’s wild locker-room celebrations hit the internet, there was one person who couldn’t help but be amused: Neymar.
The Argentine players were signing a song that was inspired by their victory over Brazil in the 2021 Copa America final, which landed them a spot in the Finalissima.
“Brazilians, what happened?” the chant went. “The five-time champion bottled it! Messi went to Rio and left with the Copa.”
When an Instagram account shared a video of Argentina’s celebrations, Brazil captain Neymar posted a question in the comments:
“Did they win the World Cup?”

Brazil and Argentina, of course, will be trying to win the World Cup later this year in Qatar. Brazil will be looking for its first title since 2002, while Argentina’s last triumph came in 1986.
